Spring 2026 Semester Spark In-Person
Overview
QILT invites faculty to join us to be a "student for the morning." Attendees will get ready for the spring semester by attending sample courses in three different areas and reflecting on their learning experiences over lunch. The afternoon will include a more in-depth discussion of how the School of Nursing developed its new competency-based undergraduate curriculum.
In line with QU's ongoing conversation about how we prepare students for their futures by developing durable skills, Semester Spark will help faculty consider the role skill development already plays in their own pedagogy, how they might add emphasis on skills, and how students experience the learning process across majors and the University Curriculum.
